Shell’s annual performance bonus is back for 2021 which will get paid out in 2022. But the bonus $ amount still depends on business performance. If business performs like sh– like 2020 it could easily zero out the bonus again. Dutch people aren’t exactly known to be extravagant.

what's your source on Shell bonus's being reinstated? first time hearing about this
We should fire anyone asking for COLA
How about cost of living adjustments being brought back first. Go ahead and vote it down since most of you aren’t in a high cost location that should receive it but that would only be fair to bring back first. Some of us are taking a huge hit from the elimination of COLA. You lost 7% and we are losing more like 30% in Midland.
Ok IT guy run your downvote script.
It would come back a whole lot faster if the Fat cats bonus was tied to bringing it back!
A lot of wishful thinking on this thread. Won’t come back until people start leaving for greener pastures and they can’t hire people they want. The company isn’t here to make you happy just to pay shareholders amd VPs.
@OP- it is coming back in 4Q but in a differebt form. You will have to invest at lesst 6% in XoM stock to get 7% match towards XoM stock. $ match is not coming back
Actually I’m surprised they have brought back the 401k and drop the pension. Isn’t that what 401ks were meant to do in the first place? Unless less and less people stick around, or are PIP’ed before reaching retirement.
Wait!!!
Return at 7% match? I don’t think that will happen again.
Of oil prices can get back into the $60’s and sustain it, I think in a year or two, you will see ~4% match
Honestly I don’t think we will ever get the match back
Assuming you mean the 7% match, only when they HAVE to bring it back. That means long after TMTS, HW3 and the downsizing of North American and European operations is completed.
It doesn’t matter what other companies are doing. They’ll only bring back the match when they find that people are leaving and they can’t hire new people because of it.
ah!
401k be never left.
Now could day be any.
