Pioneer cut head count to make it look good or investors, hires them back as contractors and promised they would come to work and nothing would change, screwed them out of a whole lot of benefits.

you seriously think they're going to come buy another company whose sole asset is comparable to what just caused their HUGE impairment loss?!?!?! You've got to be crazy. There may be many more investigations into more organizations after this is over. Should be for sure.
Man I would hate to be there dealing with the rumors on a daily. If a Exxon purchased you all packages will be the last thing you get. Maybe a thank you is all .
Do not underestimate incompetence of upper management. And on either side.
Exxon won't come knocking for another year to year and a half. This is still dependent on oil prices and the amount of time it takes a buyer that size to analyze and review data.
It amazes me people still think Exxon will ride over the hill on a white horse to scatter huge separation packages and inflated stock on us all. You don’t have to be a financial wizard to see that Exxon is hurting and in no shape to buy a $28B company. Ladies and Gentlemen it’s just us against the world...
