We have had a year plus of editorial opinions and comments - seems calming down now so let's return this board to layoffs and office closures as it should be. Everyone has made a point.

"Show me one credible post that provides documented proof and I will by you lunch. "
Just enter your name and office location and I will make sure you have a lot more free-time on your hands! Everyone wins.
There hasn’t been one Covid layoff and few layoffs recognizing in any large merger anywhere layoffs occur so a company doesn’t have two people doing the same job. Most of that is done so you are correct let’s get back to discussion of layoffs but here are none. Show me one credible post that provides documented proof and I will by you lunch. Now just disgruntled friends of Jeff who post because they have nothing in their life better to do. Lol
I think 50 miles is the cut off which is fair-ish
As long as the new campus is within a certain radius of the previous location it is considered a choice. If you choose not to move to the new campus you will not be entitled to severance.
Remember the whole "burn all your R&R and get a free lunch" campaign? That was aimed at specific BUs that will be impacted by campus shutdowns and relocations... gotta pad the CEO's pockets somehow!
So before that happens they don't have the opportunity to find a new employer?
Given the opportunity to find a new employer with a severance?
Employees who's previous work site has been closed will be provided an opportunity to move to a new local site once offices begin to open again. Sites will be located within a ~50 mile radius of the previous location. Those who choose not to relocate will be given the opportunity to find a new employer.
I heard there are serious discussions around selling off the remaining Lincoln buildings. Doesn't surprise me given the realized cost savings - the more important question is whether they will allow impacted individuals to continue WFH or whether they will be forced into an Omaha office.
Yes. Just over two years ago the Fiserv offices in Portland and Hillsboro were closed and consolidated to the Beaverton location. The new building was beautifully remodeled and hundreds of employees started working from that site. Now it is all gone. A hard to believe development...
So the Beaverton office that was just remodeled and fiserv staff moved to several years back is already closed?
All workers should be concerned
All remote workers should be concerned.
It was my understanding that the vast majority of employees in the Beaverton office were retained after the office was closed and continue to work remotely. Is that not true? Should these remote workers be concerned?
Dublin is toast. Early morning rec center swims are a thing of the past. Sorry FTS couples
I agree with the individual who replied w a * off. Another ofd shill trying to act like a big deal .
Beaverton Location was shutdown and the card services division was let go in this location. I heard Dublin, Parsippany, and Salt Lake City are on the chopping block.
Can anyone provide a complete list of offices that have been closed or on in the process of closing?
What is the point that has been made?
