Arvind and Jim have AMA channels and office hours. But have you seen any exec in GBS openly engage with employees and ask for feedback? Of course not.

I echo the comments about the extremely toxic culture in GBS. Those of us working on accounts in the Sectors billing to clients full time get treated like garbage, whereas the Service Lines (who contribute absolutely no value) get promotions, bonuses, and loads of recognition for making powerpoints. The Service Lines need to go, full stop. And that’s not even mentioning the constant fear of your job being sent to India, which is ever present and ever apparent when you as a PM or lead must heavily justify any role that isn’t sent to India.

I expect the restructuring in GBS tone centered around industries that IBM is traditionally powerful in (banking, finance, govt, healthcare, etc etc (there are approx 10-15 industries) If you are associated with these industries and are part of a Fortune 500 delivery team, you will most likely not be impacted, unless you have too much bench time. If you are not associated with these industries or a Fortune 500 account, you most definitely will be impacted no matter how billable you are. AK has already shown his hand Fortune 500 only need apply.

Worker bees in GBS need to raise up and fight back... Don't be afraid. If no one starts, it will never change and people will keep on complaining.

More APs and Partners, than worker bees. A very toxic culture in GBS, where you need to talk more than actually doing stuff to get promoted.
