Well it looks like HR is not equipped to handle all of the questions from the people being separated. I have been on hold for over 2 hours now waiting for someone to answer a question.

@2jsb+18Z0bX57 I felt the same way when I was PIPd. And then started to tell my interviewers that my position was eliminated [rather saying directly that I was eliminated via mortal combat]. But in all seriousness, you are definitely more than what you're limiting yourself to be, so don't quit and persevere, you'll land a job soon.
Previous HiPo that were PIP'd this last round aren't having issues. Most likely the blacklisted feeling for many that were PIP'd and never had a really good prior performance assessment nor good assignments to have standout skills. Generally, if you aren't getting any calls it's because your resume doesn't standout versus other applicants.
Anyone that was PIP’d and left, feel as if they’re Black Listed and cannot get an interview elsewhere??
#thoughtpolice aka admin stupid people doing this

Ha! You think ExxonMobil HR is useless? Try dealing with XTO HR and XTO MOH....they are beyond horrific!! Yet they are placed on a silver platter...I’ll never understand the reason for two separate HR/MOH groups.
HR isn’t there to help employees, it is there to protect the company (hence the executives).
Yep. People don't really believe it when I describe what XOM HR doesn't do, that pretty much all other companies do. Almost like they think I am lying...
I got a job offer recently and when my new company did my background check, EM HR failed to respond via email and phone calls, prompting me to submit all my past W2's and pay stubs. HR, seriously? My university was even prompt at reporting all my school credentials and so did my past employers.
HR got severely chopped in the US.
If you are departing the company, they have contracted Separation Specialists to speak with you.
Try to get that number...
Look no further than the top of the food chain in HR. Another VP that has no idea what they are doing regarding their business of leading/managing HR. However, they are awesome at managing upwards, PowerPoint, and following directions of those above while expressing none of their own thoughts and/or the issues that exsisit within their own organization and the negative impacts upon the entire Corporation. No worries though, the VP got their stock bonus for a job well done.
I don't think HR was equipped to function before all this. The most useless organization.
2000 people affected in the US... they were totally under equipped to handle it.
Annandale HR ...talk about useless , third floor has been dark since March 2000. Not to mention the union contact negotiations ...
Got what you asked for, deal with it. Words and actions have consequences
Well they got downsized/offshored too, so there’s that
