I agree. I thought I was going to be able to chill over the weekend because it's not rational to worry about it when it's out of your control, but I'm checking my work email every 10 minutes just in case. Whenever it finally arrives, then I'm going to analyze what day I'm scheduled for and try and figure out if its more likely I'm cut or survived.
I guess they didn't want to spoil the Thanksgiving of the effected, but damnnnnn they gave the paltry number in the voluntary crowd forever to make up their minds with next to no incentive, took another ten days to finalize that list, and then we're going to get chopped the day after? It would have been better if they gave the voluntary crowd two full weeks, already understood the people from the voluntary population who they wouldn't let go so that the volunteers could be told immediately if they could go, then tell us the week after that, Thanksgiving be damned. That's how I'd prefer it was done, at least. I guess we at least get a little extra time employed with this delay of sorts.
