management owns HR. once a critical mass is reached with that nepotistic race, it is all over for that company.

Oh please. Andy himself was an immigrant. We do have issues with one certain country and its nepotistic practices however. I don’t understand why HR stands by and let’s this go on.
PSO hand no vision and Sohail had no IQ. Do you remeber how many times PSO was asked at quarterly about mobile and ARM and Apple. Always the same response from PSO - "we're making so much money on PC, mobile is fringe" ... remember the stillborn ultrabooks? And don't remind me about Sohail, this fuhrer was the most incompetent but the most ruthless and brownnosed * that obliterated TMG and brought it down to a 3rd-world labor colony. I lived thru that.

The bright Intel folks took things too literally.
Intel , in its history had only two good CEOs .
Robert Noyce - the nurturing , mentoring , visionary and optimist. His famous quote was 'Don't be encumbered by history, just go out and do something wonderful.'. His management style got us Andy grove.
Andy Grove - brilliant , controlling , visionary , paranoid. His famous quote is 'Only paranoid survive'. His style got us Craig Barrett (Good human being , but made poor decisions and lost tons of money in useless M&As) , PSO (made wrong calls on apple under Andy Bryants 'paranoid' projections ) , Andy Bryant - finance guy whom Grove love so much because of the controlling nature. Andy Bryant was later on was impressed with the controls at the TMG and rooted for BK.
So , the second good CEO , being authoritarian , spawned rest of the bad apples.
Too late to correct the course , when the competition is hungry and ten steps ahead of you.
BTW , the claims that third worlders ruined INtel etc.. , chill down. They are directing Google , Microsoft , Pepsi etc.. very well. The issue is Intels culture. WIth BOB Swan working tirelessly to increase his pay , the future looks grim.
