Ok, automate everything, then what about the millions who work in plants? Stay at home and become musicians and artists? Sell their wares on itsy? Go get that college degree in "business"? Let's be real, you displace all those workers with AI, it is not only going to cost the company, but the nation as well. AI is not going to buy a F150, or pay payroll tax (unless legislation changes). Idle hands will result in rebellions; you will see countries go into turmoil like never before. Look at any third world country with low manufacturing, most are dangerous and every one wants to leave. The system we have albeit freedom consuming was put their for a good reason. Some humans are incapable to chart their own course or make logical decisions. Just look at all the rioting this past summer, I attribute some of that to people being out of work. Also the stimulus checks, that is literally the U.S. just paying people not to rebel.

This is sad to say the least. Why do we not question chnys culpability in the US societal demise? What do we do when another more dangerous virus appears? Answer...... remove humans from manufacturing.... with the emergence of AI we could automate everything.
