Please get N95 masks and face shield. You can order a box of 20 masks from eBay and rotate between 4 masks at a time. Please keep the masks in numbered open containers.

Search for “3M 8210” on eBay. If you find it hard to wear the 8210 mask because it’s airtight, then you can order “8511” masks with an exhaust valve. You will need to wear a surgical mask on top of the 8511 mask for the protection of the customer since the exhaust is unfiltered. While it is not hard to wear a 8511 mask for 8 hours at a stretch, it is difficult to wear the 8210 mask for more than 2 hours.

If you follow the above steps verbatim then you have very little chance of contracting a virus.

The virus particles are smaller than any air holes in the mask. It will stop globs of moisture from a sneeze. Virus can flow out the side with your breath. Maybe you should try a mask that filters out the virus and seals on the side. Do such exist?

1:50 odds of dying from Covid after catching it? Perhaps if you’re over 70 with several underlying conditions. My daughter had it back in April and recovered within a week. I also know someone that was 61 that died from it and it’s unfortunate that some people that are otherwise appear to be healthy succumb to it but that is the exception. The reality is a healthy individual has a far greater chance of dying from properly prescribed medication and or being struck by lightning than dying from Covid

Two people I knew personally have died from COVID19. (Before this, I never knew anyone who died from the flu.) Both suffered horrible experiences with tubes and isolation. Their families are heartbroken.

Others friends complain of ongoing symptoms, the kinds of ailments that are only becoming obvious as we move into the long-term.

Don't let the deniers on this board convince you it's "no big deal". It isn't, until you get it, and then you have 1:50 odds of dying, unknown odds of lasting repercussions, and the obligation not to pass it to the more vulnerable (which is not a synonym for "sissy").

1:50 odds of dying? So in a country of 300,000,000 people, we will have at least 6,000,000 covid deaths? Someone needs a better source of facts.

So you are risking the lives of at least 6 families a day just so you can earn a paycheck?

Feel your pain brother. Unfortunately you came to a troll g–g b–g on this board as far as having a serious discussion. Most posters on here cannot even put together a complete sentence let alone a thought. Gen pop has reached complete apathy in regards to the pandemic. Most think they will not get it and if they do they will get over it. And for the most part they are right. The problem is protecting the vulnerable, of which everybody’s Granny and Pop Pop are part of. At this point if they don’t give a c___ why should you. Protect yourself and move on to the next job.
Also, as far as nurses go, was in a house on Friday after Thanksgiving. Three roommates, of which two were nurses. Moving into a new house. Not only was everybody’s auntie and second cousin in the house, NOBODY was wearing a mask. Whatever. Bob and weave and keep moving. Cheers.

Everybody is going to get it. You cannot hide from it. I never wear a mask and continue to go about my business as usual. As far as I know I have not had it.

Return job due to unsafe life threatening job conditions

No job is so important that it cannot be done in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Its simple, no mask no service. No one but your self is in charge of your own safety.
