Respect the new leadership and what the company is trying to do with the new portfolio but I’m looking and planning to leave to another role/ industry like many currently are in the company/ finance team after we get our LTI payout.
Seems like Everyone is applying to roles at our peers and even to companies in other cities if you are ready to relocate. Life is too short to continue worrying about holding onto role here, even if they do decide to keep you.
Too many layoff rounds and mergers here at CVE.. too volatile to stick around.
Working here is no longer interesting and I’m willing to take a comp hit to enjoy my role again. The LTI payout is a gift to help make this happen.
They will have quite the loss of corporate talent soon by the sounds of it, but they will just need to outsource to backfill if they can $$$
