Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

It was bound to happen

I'm just surprised we don't get this kind of news more often about many more locations, considering the lacking sanitary practices (and I'm being very diplomatic in my wording.)

At 4846 they have multiple people test positive and have never shut down!! Just sayin. Also if you work with someone and they haven’t told you that they are positive then you will never find out from management! And if you are aware that someone else is positive you are not allowed to tell anyone!!!

Wearing a mask should be a personal choice.

This company needs to require all people entering the store to wear a mask. If they take it off in the store, they need to ask them to leave. This is our lives corporate. As far as the cleaning goes, our club is filthy, bathrooms are disgusting, breakroom is nasty.

It doesn’t happen more often because I’m sure Walmart is paying someone so they can stay open even when there’s an outbreak. The company would lose too much money if it’s required to shut down like they make small business do. In my state it clearly says, if there’s an outbreak at the workplace, the store has to shut down for 2 weeks for cleaning. We had an outbreak at our club and didn’t even shut down for a day. Some people come in, sprayed some liquid here and there and moved on. So yeahh!!
