Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Is anyone tired of being tired?

After months of being overworked and understaffed I think I’m pretty much done. I don’t know about anyone else, but this “do everything” on the floor to include the backroom has got me thinking there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I’m trying hard to hold on and I appreciate my fellow associates working alongside me but even they are showing major signs of fatigue. It used to feel good to be tired from a good day at work, but now I’m just tired of feeling tired.

I know that feeling. I get tired of not getting help and still I need to work on different department while no one is helping me. They keep on hiring but every time they hired they run away cause they overwork them. So I take my vacation time and I file for sick leave and now I put my two weeks and this coming dec 24 payday I’m still gonna get my bonus hahaha. F them all... I’m done being slave on this company. F management that don’t know how to appreciate their associates I feel sorry for supervisor like me who get over work. If you are young find another job with a good benefits and will pay you better.

S— it up! You probably don't work as hard as you think you do. You get your breaks & lunches. That's 1.5 hours a day you get to sit on your lazy behind. 30 minutes of that you are paid for—2.5 hours a week of free money. Get to work & set an example for others.

Just do the best you can, then let it go. Remember, this is a job, not your life. Don't let your current job consume you.

When I'm feeling burnt out, and I think that's what you're experiencing, I switch departments or get a different job in the same department. I've had four different jobs in eight years. I keep an eye on jobs that will raise my paycheck, but even if you lose a dollar an hour, it can't compare to the relief a new job will give you. By the way, lateral moves don't cause a drop in pay.

You'll be amazed what changing jobs can do. I was.
