I agree. The best Cisco can do is to try to keep what customers it has. Not much chance they gain traction against Zoom or that would have started already.

Done Deal Indeed done dirt cheap.

Zoom attack? Webex should make a name for itself and not try to ride on the popularity of Zoom. In 2020, Zoom is $100B+ company. Webex is at least 20 times less valuable. Nothing wrong with it. Webex can continue to selling to its comfortable customer base, large enterprise customers. There is no coming back on all the new market Zoom has captured. It is a done deal.

Anybody watch the WebexOne show? Chucks eyes down reading cue cards. Apparently they say the number one feature of Webex is fighting racial inequality. When did someone say this is being spun off?

None of this matters. Zoom is way past Cisco. Earlier in the year CR got his rocks off showing a new WebEx commercial that was going to be ran on TV. It hasn't done diddly. Everyone still knows Zoom.

Interesting and fascinating at the same time!

Two Questions I have always wondered:

  1. Does Zoom make routers and switches?
  2. Is Zoom's parent company the same parent company that owns Huawei ?

Thanks!!
