All streaming companies need is the bandwidth to get it to the customer Owed router. They need content, pipeor wireless to get there, not sure why no one at ATT ever understood that. Verizon seems to get it.

Of course the math doesn't work, revenue for all these blockbuster 2021 releases will be a drop in the bucket of theatrical numbers.

My bet is after the abysmal numbers after the first few direct to hbo max movies , they'll pull the plug. Also by then mid 2021 what ever is the remaining of the theater business will start coming back.

This was nothing more than a ploy for more hbo max subs...but it will be forgotten. Next spring
