Anyone read the settlement agreement documents received after the dec 14,2020 termination date and notice discrepancies in the exhibit A document vs. the letter? Letter states information as of 6/25/20 but the discrepancy indicates that data will be provided for 12/15/20. Anyone else catch this or can explain it??? Thanks.
Man! I got my like the day after I was let go (December 15)
I signed it on the 26th, but still haven't see my severance payment yet.
I haven’t seen anything yet. Tomorrow, (Dec 14) is my last day. If I don’t see it by Tuesday, I’ll give them a call
Were you r4?
I have received mine. It comes a few days before your last official day.
You have 60 days. It comes via email.
Isn’t the last day 12/14?
I found this in the blurb I was sent
Employee Relations sends release waiver, via email, through DocuSign (external company Chevron has partnered with for this purpose) to employee’s personal email within about 7 days after last day on payroll.
R$ last day o payroll is dec 13th so
so it should arrive around the 20th at the lastest
and I won't be returning mine until about 30th to ensure its in one of the Jan payroll periods
The waiver documents won’t be sent out until after the last official day on the payroll, which is when your final WARN period ends. I wasn’t aware the waiver documents would be sent by email, unless that’s the way it was announced for layoffs in Round 4. In any case, you have 30 days or so to sign and submit the documents back to the company before they are processed to get your severance check. Don’t submit the waiver back too soon, to ensure you get paid in the 2021 tax year.
Because humans take time to do things. It is not automated. HR does not eagerly work towards having everything in place such that it arrives the day after you are no longer an employee. Probably reasons for that. Who would know if they are quality reasons?
My experience is it came one week after my last day on the payroll.
Why would it not arrive Dec 15?
If you were in the 4th round, you are technically still employed until December 14. So you should receive the waiver email before Christmas. — Yours sincerely HR Partner.
