- I was a communicator for EMIT. My job title is Skills and Development Manager (SDM)
- I kind of knew who was selected for involuntary layoffs the week of Thanksgiving, But it was confirmed the week after.
- I was not a decision maker on who gets selected but I did have some input and influence.
- Your SDA was a factor even though we said it wasn't. Your current skills and future goals vs your salary is something that was considered.
- Nothing in writing whether there will be a major layoff in March or at all next year.
- Did we lose good people? yes.
- Do we wish times were different and O&G was still booming? yes, and maybe this could have been avoided.
