So . In middle of surplus and being told can’t bump because of job offer outside of FAA?! Anyone know if this is right?? Was lateral but not in forced adjustment area

Don’t believe you can bump outside your FAR you Can bid on jobs with a surplus status which moves you to the top of the list Provided your test qualified

It boils down to your contract. If the new job would trigger a relocation entitlement, because the commute would be too long, I don't see it. Otherwise, don't know. I've lived 5 miles away from a different force adjustment area.

YEAH!!! Screw the union! I'm sure their efforts in the last century or so have nothing to do with our current hourly rates and benefits at all, right guys?!
