Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel is SDL-ed to death

I think a general problem in big companies is that for every problem a new process is defined to make sure it does not happen again. This is tempting idea, but at one point, all work is stopped in bloated processes. SDL is one of them. The amount of time which goes into this process is incredible. In the end you deliver nothing (or nothing in time) any longer. Maybe this is 100% secure, but without products deliveries, the company will die.

Overcomplexity is Intel DNA. Remember Netburst Architecture?

The only things that Intel is good at now are overcomplicating things with more bureaucracy, stock buybacks to keep the stock from plunging, outsourcing to India, and beating the drum of Diversity and Inclusion.
