Vaccine

If AT&T tries to make it mandatory, will you take it?

Sure they can not make you. What it is going to come to is if an employee comes down with COVID and the insurance does not have on file that the said person has not started the vaccine then they will be exempt from covering the expenditure. In other words an employee is covered if they take the vaccine. Refusal would mean no coverage for what they would see as an avoidable instance. Zero tolerance for excuses on why the vaccine was not taken.

How can they know if you did with HIPPA laws?

They can absolutely require it as a condition of employment. IF you have a bonafide medical issue that prevents you for taking the vaccine you are exempt. You’ll sign a form that says you can’t sue them if you have an adverse reaction to the vaccine. Whether they will or not is the question...but they can require it.

I'm medically unable to take the vaccine so I'm sure there will be medical exemptions.

if you're here responding "they can't make me" or "it's illegal" then you are 100% kidding yourself about what they can and can not do

If it costs money, they won’t force you to take it because there’s no way they are going to pay for the employees to get it.

I would bet there will be lots of encouragment to the masses. Maybe some requirement for call centers and places that have some number of employee's together at one time. Even so, masking and distanceing will still be required for months to come.

No. My body, my choice. And they cannot legally force you to do so.

Absolutely not. But considering that my garage of Premises Slaves have been in sick people's houses all year and have each contracted the disease by now, it's not necessary in our case any way.

If other vaccines are not required, I don’t see how they will be able to enforce this. However, given the state of things in this country, I don’t doubt they will cram it down your throat anyways and make it required to do pretty much anything.

me personally? no. cause I'm a full time teleworker.

if I worked in a store, or did installs, or was forced into a cattle call like a call center or a open space work environment, such a requirement /might/ be more justifiable. that would be tough call. It would be easy to say "no way" today here on the board, but i'm a bit more realistic about what I'd really do when faced with that situation. and I dont know.

They can't do that. But you're a mouth breathing, conspiracy theorist believing simpleton if you don't get it as soon as you can.

Yes. But it would not make me happy if they mandate it.
