Brings ATT into synch with WarnerMedia on the holiday calendar. However they did screw us by going to unlimited vacation policy. Unlimited also means:

  1. No guaranteed days. Ever day requested will still be submitted and scrutinized (no one wants to be the person who takes the most)
  2. No unused vacation payout when you leave the company
  3. Go from taking a day off as mental health/personal day and feel like you are doing boss a favor by checking email periodically to feeling like you need to make some personal time on a work day

Studies have shown employees typically take fewer days with unlimited policies. Everyone is nervous that it will influence performance evaluations.

OK, so who is going to manage the non-management teams while managers are out on vacation on MLK, President's day & Day after Thanksgiving. With absolutely no managers( Roosters) in the company working those days who is left to watch the non-management (Hens) and keep the (foxes) trouble issues out of the Network (hen house). Non-management does not currently get those days off per the contracts...so did leadership really think this throw. When the Cat's away the Mice will play...

this is a nice incentive to attract new employees and to keep the employees with out the years with the company.
For me I lost some days and gained three days I would not have taken off but it is better than getting the kick in the rear on the way out the door.
