Been with the company over 5 years. I work in a department that is still supposed to start at $11/hour, but since the turnover rate is so high, it was raised to $13/hour. Therefore, they make more than I do. I am officially training new hires who make more money than I and they're straight out of high school. I regret ever starting working here.

I suspected as much. I am even surprised that they have even hired people for you to train. We have a very skeleton crew and higher paid employees from other departments are borrowed to keep the shelves stocked and I am stressed from repairing their mistakes plus the ravages that the members do to the products in addition to the job activities. They charge the time worked by the scabs under the other department's code. It has become a toxic environment with hard labor and little hope of a qualified crew working in the department under such department's coding as committed and interested associates.
What is your job code and what job code are you training the new hires?
Then quit.
Lots of jobs in the store. Move to a higher paying job.
