Pay band

So if my current base salary is less than 80% of the mid point does that mean I will automatically be bumped up this year?

This is what Stankey was talking about when he talked about “benefit efficiencies” in 2021

Most people are above the 80% mark, unless your boss is really screwing you over. Don't expect any huge gains, for those who are on the top end, you will lose on headroom.

In summary, company will pay employees less. Big surprise and you can thank the HR heroes for working so hard to get the company to be competitive.

I wouldn't put too much into what you see now. The pay bands are being updated. You will likely be at a different point in your updated band l.

Can anyone tell me where I can see where I am at in that TSR? Been a while since I've seen that. Thanks

They’re taking the midpoint of the TSRs and collapsing the range to a low of 80% of midpoint to a max of 120% of midpoint. If you’re under 80% you’ll get a raise to 80%. If you’re over 120% no more raises for you, perhaps if lucky a lump sum in place of a raise. As already mentioned this helps the folks with less time in title and hurts those that have been here awhile and worked their way up over many years.

No. 80% of the "range". If you said "low point" instead of "mid point" in your question, then the answer would be yes. This should help people that have been really screwed until now.

This whole move is to push older workers out. Age discrimination for sure!

You don't know what the new pay band for your job will be so no way to answer. Also some titles might get changed putting people into different bands. I can assure you its a net savings to the company so take from that what you will.

Yes. This definitely benefits younger employees. You will get a big raise.
