My colleague said Dell laid off right before the holiday one year?

I just heard they let some folks go this week. Guess new round is starting before end of Q4
Highly doubt it this December in case you missed the townhall with Jeff and mgmnt team touting the 3q results as breaking sales records ...

Agree. All the tinpot laptop and server sellers will need to level up or move out. Thank goodness Bill Scannel has stuck around to retool the sales team.
why would layoffs in DEC be any different than in Sept or any other month?
They should layoff 60% of the dead weight in the company.
