REALLY? Are you sure? I hope so. I never tried it.
You can use ppto in 15 minute increments, it will cover being late with no half point. While no one should be belittled, yes a teamlead can yell or correct your actions. If you are being mistreated, you should go to your manager to open door your teamlead.
If you have ppto you will not gonna get points that’s why we have PROTECTED time. They are full of sh– for telling you that you can’t use it.
Per the CBL and Policy: Protected PTO is for tardy, absence or early out as long as you have enough PPTO to cover it.
Also, if you do not have enough PPTO, but regular PTO, then you can put in your PPTO and it will convert the PTO to PPTO.
And no a TL is not there to do that. They, as I do with my associates, are there to support you. If they’re being garbage? Open door them. Go directly to your manager.

If you have protected pto there is nothing they can do to you but if it’s just pto you can get the half point!
