Aerospace industry has moved on from old stoggies like Honeywell. We are making parts for the Model T while SpaceX is building a minivan.

Industrial buildings control is going to be disrupted as soon as Wyze notices and builds product at 1/10th the cost of Honeywell, Johnson, Siemens, and even Nest.

Long slow change to new businesses coming. Honeywell will still exist but it won’t be recognizable.

Skip the 401k and get back into a leader.

To the grammar, spelling, punctuation, and typo troll:

Please give it up. It is unnecessary, unwelcome, and uncool. Feeding one's ego at the expense of others is so last-century.

Little Willie, I smell poor grammar ("a" exit?) and poor spelling ("40k"?).

Get real. In today’s MBA training the baby exes are being told that 10-18% turnover is normal and healthy. The only employees that matter are in the 3 to 5 year window. Everyone else is too expensive and too tired to work the hours needed to pump out designs every three months.
Executives don’t think about retention issues.. they worry about demographic issues... translation : the old farts won’t leave.

They must see this coming from a mile away. Hopefully for us that stay, pay raises and level ups. Then again, I’m a dreamer

I wish it was 40k payout. Imagine you make $200k ( shut up California and union folks). Your match is under 16k max.... you salary bump would easily cover that at another company. Leave today.

I remember some CFO letter trying to tell us that time value of money didn’t matter and 7% of your whole salary in six months is way better than 7% of every paycheck today. Imagine that calculation this year? Your money deposited in the pandemic depths would have DOUBLED. Lol .. what a tool.
