Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Recruiting top talents - before, now, in the future?

They don’t care about how much work you do or how productive you are because they don’t directly see it at the employee level. Productivity measurement is what has been filtered through half-a-dozen layers of management, metrics, and surveys. They see when they go into the office employees “at their best” when they are in their presence which skews the reality. They want this workplace framework even with the greater hit to the bottom line. They don’t care how expensive it is for employees to commute or park their car .. to them it is what you are supposed to be paying for. If remote work becomes the true norm, the bank will never be able to compete for top talent.

I absolutely agree with the original poster - @1xpq+18p5aLlB. They just don’t care. I’m also afraid that they don’t care about getting top talents and that they will care less and less?
I hope I’m wrong.

They don’t care, I’ve seen people that have all the skills and requirements on job reqs for positions we really need talent in and the person that ends up getting it usually doesn’t but we’re really good at cheerleading
