Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Does Oracle even have a growth plan anymore?

Or is everybody just content to keep the status quo while implementing constant layoffs to keep the shareholders happy?

Increasing shareholder value. Stock is at an all-time high of 65$ per share so if you've invested in your employer then you will be sitting pretty.

No growth plan, just pump money into buying back the stock to keep the price up until LE doesn't need that anymore. All things are done for LE's benefit. Growth plans are hard, takes thought. LE doesn't have any thoughts anymore.

Many organizations reach the point where organic growth is difficult and they become cash cows. I

The existing customers will keep cash rolling in for years.

Many of the SAAS products competitive and are growing nicely. Unfortunately the rest of the company (I.e., practically the entire tech org) is a boat anchor and should be parted out and sold off.

Why should there be a plan when your founder intends to live forever?
