So as a Manager - upper level management decided that we didn't need SWTN access (can't be trusted I suppose).
But evidently, there's no problem for "Executives" making telephone calls all over the world using the corporate long distance network and no-body cares.
I was driving down Interstate 20 in my company truck and my car threw a fan belt, so I pulled into a gas station. While waiting most of the day for a tow - I WAS BORED & FULL OF BEER - and there were these displays (sign up for a chance to win $$$$$ and in the small print it stated - by signing up you agree to change your long distance carrier. I signed up as an executive that let's call "Belldar".
Well old Belldar kept making those LD phone calls for another 30 days and then he gets his
LD bill. It was over $5,000. Evidently, he talked a lot on an expensive line. Rumour had it that someone crammed his phone - the same sort of thing that SBC used to do. Edict came out to verify LD carrier and lock them with OCS so no more changes could occur.
I bet Belldar PoooP'ed in his long johns when he got the bill.
I wonder how he explained it to his boss?

I once worked for a telecomm company that over paid for a media company on the advise of Randy the MBA.
I worked with a tech that swapped the spark plugs out of the company car with his personal car and his car
ran so bad that when he checked the plugs again he discovered they were chevy originals with 125k miles
on them. His old ones had 30k miles on them. He went to swap them back and the company car was gone.
