I'm glad to see in the comments here that I'm not the only one who is actually looking forward to layoffs. Things at this place have gone from bad to worse in a hurry and I really don't want to be here to watch it reach 'the worst' phase. I'm sure if they offered buyouts, people would be lining up to accept. So as I said, bring it on. I'm ready.

Doubtful there will be any review bonus or raises in light of giving away 900 million. You know, big wigs make the mistakes and the little guy pays for it. I’m sure the upper echelon won’t suffer too much on their bonus though and even so, they already make millions per year. So glad those guys are protected so they can keep making high dollar mistakes.
I’m new and work in collections but what depts are being most affected?
I'm with you there - from experience, take that first package and get out!
I would love to be laid off.. grab that package and run as fast as I can
I got an offer to join the newcastle office. Can you guys share any insight if I should take the job? I work at another delaware bank now.
If I was approached with a buyout, I’d take it. They will be laying off soon anyway. You don’t make up for a 1.3 billion dollar loss by scaling back on free coffee. You do so by cutting back on raises, bonuses and layoffs. 1.3 billion dollar loss = we gave away 900 million + 400 million in fines.
