“Without strategy, execution is aimless. Without execution, strategy is useless.”
What is Intel’s strategy these days?
What is Intel’s execution these days?
I remember when Intel used to have a strategy and executed it like tick tock clock work and was the envy and fear of everyone. There wasn’t anything that they probably couldn’t have done with their leadership, profits if only they had a strategy.
The MBA, bean counters and marginal managers and technologist rose to the top.
We worked 7 days a week, no detail was beneath a senior VPs to review and approve. Execution was king and strategy was neglected and here we are a few years later with no strategy and no execution.
We out sourcing or are we not? IDM is a great strength or isn’t it ? No body can seem to make up their mind. Should products be designed internally on 7nm and 5nm, will they ever see the light of day, hey maybe we should outsourcing them, oh what should we do?
You think the engineers all the way to senior VPs and fellows are wondering, don’t worry keep working we will figure out the strategy shortly.
