Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Na na na na na

Sorry for this (no I am not) after over two decades, ATT showed me the door this year, I went to one of their competitors. Well, I guess I get the last laugh. My new company is on this iist and ATT is not.

If you hang around long enough in the business you’ll see how the pendulum swings back and forth. Think: Bernie Ebbers. I’ve worked for both Verizon and ATT...Neither are all good or all bad...timing is everything.

Managers think they're right because they're the boss. Being a people manager must mean you're both better and smarter than your charges. Always found it curious someone who barely had 5 minutes a week to talk could know what is best for me. Never did understand why they wasted LWD on L3 and above - most of work done by L2 managers. Shouldn't all employees know what is expected, not just managers?

OP comes in here to show off only to find out that major corporations pay to appear in these "best" of lists. LOLOLOL

LOL, no VZ did not buy its way onto this list. Even if they did, you should be worried that T could not afford to buy its way onto a list that dont cost much.

I left voluntarily. My toxic a– manager said you’ll be back the grass isn’t greener. Yeah I was only mad I didn’t leave sooner
