As far as I heard, round 2 may come as soon as February 15... I don’t think AK can afford to wait until past the first quarter to use the $3B setup for restructuring. Especially not after the last earnings call and results that were a disaster. This was clearly pointed out in the analyst questions during the call.
I was Round 1 last Thursday. Don't think "Round 2" will happen until end of month allegedly.
Then another round closer to the closure of NewCo spin-off probably.
I don’t think it is a “76Bill company”... more like 73.5B company if I can add up correctly 4 numbers... but soon it will no more than a 53B company after GTS is jettisoned
Just remember the old CEO mantra As goes revenue so goes head count Revenue fell 6% across the board, so you should expect 6% headcount cuts across the board. Your mileage may vary depending on your division. NOTE Newco’s new CEO was AK’s guest speaker, and he made it quite clear that GTS’s starting point vs competitors was as a lean go to market competitor. That means GTS has to slim down to 90k worth of heads, which means yet more cuts.

Pay attention to Arvinds email. He tells us exactly what the priorities are. If you don’t fit in to one of the priorities, you know what to expect. And even if you do fall in to one of the priorities, given the tone Arvind is taking, if you see your group failing then you better jump.
I am always getting "read my blog" emails from execs. Most now have Indian names now.
RA'd last week. Location is USA, role is offering management. One other on my team going. Both of us over 55. both 10+ years at IBM.
Two developers on projects I work with, also location USA, were also RA'd. Not sure their age, but senior employees for sure. One was told his job was moving to India.

I’ve been RAd and I’m looking at roles in gbs Canada. Can someone give me a salary range for band 8 in gbs Canada? Trying to see if it’s worth staying for a band 8 role or leaving with the package and going elsewhere
