Good job getting rid of workers that aren't needed anymore. Cut the fat.

The article is actually from Oct 2020. The real number of lost jobs for 2020 is closer to 40,000. Not to mention 'rebadged'...

Actually the three stooges declined the job. They were overqualified and much too mice to screw employees for millions

  • . . interesting - ATT saved 16m by getting a new CEO

Oh, getting a new CEO with Stankey's portfolio of talents would have been a bargain at twice the price. And remember, he didn't just have the job handed to him, it was a competitive selection. The board also interviewed Moe., Larry and Curley, so he really had to bring his A game.

Pretty demoralized internally, if you are looking for a job, be wise and look else where.

AT&T is carrying half a trillion of liabilities on its books. It was never a matter of if but when a mass chopping would take place, no matter what anyone did, and cable is an easy thing to cut when the whole economy is shrinking along with millions of jobs. A CEO's only mandate is that company doesn't go bankrupt and the dividends happen on his watch. If you aren't aware of the company's dire debt situation, you haven't been doing your due diligence before joining the Death Star.
