Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Your not alone

You got the boot young and old come here. You wanna be an IBMer .Your miserable ,and would give anything to back there. The ones who complain and trash the company the most ,are the ones even feel stronger about being back there. You come here cause misery loves company.Even ones who have been gone a few years come here and say how great it is else where ,but deep down inside they miss IBM and dream of being back there.

Your not alone their are thousands and thousands like you.Stay strong.

I miss sitting around doing nothing for months on end and collecting a check. I have to admit that. The rest, not so much

What a joke of a post! I am ashamed of what IBM has become. It is crystal clear that the TOP does not know what they are doing. IBM should of been #1 in the cloud game and not what maybe #8! I worked for IBM for over 20 years before I bailed last year. It was a good company at one time...but in the last 10 years it has been on a steady decline. And dare I say that in the last 5 years working there became unbearable...way too many layoffs, work load increased for those left behind (doing the job for 2-3 people) and poor customer retention/satisfaction.

When you have nothing left to loose, you're mastery of English is the first thing to go.

Long-time IBMers do have good memories, but they are gone and we are done mourning them. When we leave IBM, voluntarily or not, we will not spend a minute missing what IBM has become.

Totally ignorant post. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation on par with a 6th grader. No former employee dreams of going back to IBM, but some of us spent decades working there, still have friends there, and have big portions of their life’s investments tied to the company’s success. Go post somewhere else....

if YOU'RE going to post a pompous and somewhat condescending message like that, check YOUR spelling. It completely deflates the value of your post.

Technology changes very rapidly. We need to change fast or risk being left out.

years ago, the ibm employees were proud. Today they must be ashamed, especially the management. How can they run such a large company down like that?
