Hold Pat’s beer.
new CEO going all in with loser lifers who don’t know now the industry has left them behind 😁
New CEO is sure making waves with Investors 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Remember intel is one process node behind, not to mention 10nm has both yield and performance issues that AMD doesn’t have on 7nm nor Apple on 5nm
I am sure Pat is the genius as all the old designers he brings back( remember Tejas and Itanium and Larabee all were great ). They were so awesome with Intel one generation ahead on process. The tables are turned, the whole world has access to superior process one or even two nodes.
Sorry Pat and all the seniors fellows can’t make up a generation gap and it isn’t like the architects at Apple, AMD, Nvidia and many others are that stupid that they can’t use a one generation lead and scale and cost advantage to k–l intel like intel k–led everyone else in the 90s.
Sorry the scale and lead others have with Samsung and TSMC is too large.
Unless TSMC and Samsung repeat the Hillsboro FUBAR AMD, Apple, Nvidia, Qualcomm and others will ride them as intel falls further and further behind.
The only reason Intel made the money they did is because TSMC didn’t put more capacity in place and they and Samsung are spending big to extend their process lead and offer superior logic to anyone who wants it.
I hear Intel thinks they can regain the lead, sadly I think their chances only are their if both Samsung and TSMC do a Ronler flop
Many will say yes
quit years ago, never coming back. every other company pays more than intel lol.
lol qcz we know you're way below grade 9
You mean same architects who almost screwed up the company with Itanium and Pentium4?
haha
They got lucky with Nehalem because AMD stumbled. These glorified dinosaurs are coming back to make easy money instead of sitting idle.
whats the point of hiring architects when the problem is with yield?
wont matter a bit as long as everyone gr9 and under is paid like c-ap lol
