Remember when the entire workforce was urged to fill in every field in the Talent profile late in 2020. Unless the senior leaders are putting in 100 hour weeks dedicated to the review and simultaneously conversing with their counterparts in the company, I’m thinking this may have been a waste of time.

I was laid off from Cenovus a few years ago and this is EXACTLY what happens:
In past experiences the talent profiles are never referenced. Instead managers argue over I want to keep my friends and my eye candy... everyone else is expendable, especially if you have a brain.
Especially in IT...probably the most toxic environment I have ever worked in

The talent profile certainly helped me to update my CV

We don’t have a single person in management on our entire floor!
It makes perfect sense. Ask yourself how many people not in management are left on your floor? We have one. That’s it.
That makes zero sense! Many decisions will need to be made between people with very similar comp numbers, and the talent profiles will be used to help differentiate and make decisions. If they just laid off all of the higher comp employees, they’d quickly find themselves with two major issues 1). Age discrimination 2). Massive losses of critical experience and knowledge to run their business and make money!
Make sure to tell the media everything . Don't sign anything under duress. What they are doing is immoral and illegal.
They were an absolute waste of time. All it is about is money, you fit in their budget for each team or you don’t. The rest was all lies and misdirection.
I am not sure that anyone even looks at that.
