Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Adamczyk approval

How come Adamczyk is so 'popular' on Glassdoor? I'm really curious how he managed to get the approval rating that is near 80 percent. I know there are fake reviews there but even with them this seems like a really high percentage. Are there people who actually think he's doing a good job?

Maybe we could all go to Glassdoor and post our true thoughts, and refer people to this site. And keep doing it as quickly as our posts are removed.

I was also asked to post a good review as soon as I completed my onboarding. I said nice things but was honest that I'd only been with the co. a few weeks. The review was taken down.

Because anything negative is taken down. I’ve tried.

I actually experienced this myself. 2-3 weeks after getting hired, I received calls from a contracted Public Relations person who, after thanking me for giving high marks to the on-boarding process, bluntly asked me to log onto glassdoor.com and basically give the same rating to Honeywell and the CEO. This was a direct straightforward request. Honeywell has mastered the art of deceit and deception in the way they conduct their business. If you receive a bonus, aren't you supposed to make political contributions?

What is the true approval rating for DA? My guess is that it must be less than 10% for the US workforce with more than 5 years experience. It is impossible to be an effective leader with this level of support.

It seems retirees have access to the Wall Street Journal through the retirees site. Also limited access to the New York Times.

@1vbk+1961MliT – I am happily retired so I don't have that access to the WSJ. Good news, I suppose, for those still working at HON.

Maybe it's time to be honest on glassdoor so DA and MM images are truly understood by those looking for jobs. I tell any young engineer to stay clear.

@rua+1961MliT The company pays for WSJ access, search the intra-tubes. I don't think there are repercussions for reading a website/newspaper that the company provides access too but you never know.

I have changed positions twice in the last year Both times I was asked to post my positive experience on Glassdoor. Gave the Hon recruiter the "yeah, yeah" response. I can't in good conscious post my real experience. Everyone in my group received the same request, and none are posting.

Honeywell uses a reputation management firm to handle their web persona. Managed out of corporate via the legal department. Several offices in different countries. They is a variety of methods to drive reviews for products and company.

@ztw+1961MliT – WSJ is a tease. You can read the intro paragraph and get the gist of the story but would need a subscription to read the rest of the article.

Good citation anyway. Glassdoor manipulation by companies. Who could have imagined that?

"Don't use names here! Post will be deleted. " : I don't think so, all these websites are moderated by liberals. So any post against whites and specially white men is OK. I have seen hundreds of posts against DA,MM, JW etc. However write anything against QD or against affirmative action hires and your post is immediately deleted

If you write a positive review and then tell your HR leader you get a $50 bravo. It's written policy.

Most Glassdoor reviews are fake, and they were exposed by the Wall Street Journal:

Companies can

  • pay a marketing firm to report any negative review a thousand times to get it auto-removed.
  • instruct new hire and interns to post a good review on their 1st day of work. (Honeywell does this)

Most companies target a glass door score a tad under 4 stars.

Some are fake but many are from outside the US. HON has a very large workforce outside the US and these employees rarely get to see how toxic HON US hubs are. Most of the international employees joined HON to get a chance to work or migrate to the US. What they don't realize is that very few will get international opportunities and when they land in the US, they get to see the real HON

Marketing is an expansive area of expertise that encompasses many different focus areas, skills and job descriptions. Working in a marketing position involves showcasing a company in a positive light, often by showing customers or clients why they should trust a company and purchase its goods or services.

Honeywell has lots of them on their payroll. Never again! Ask yourself why they give you a raise. Then take away later. They have to in order pay these people.

Lie about company. In order to get people to work for this horrible toxic company and management. They have lots of money just can't give it to any of their employees. Expect big shots.
