My doctor's office wants me to pay for them to fill out Sedgwick forms. Is this normal?

Yes, that’s right.
People are dumb, i had a doctor that there office policy was to not fill out paperwork at all ever. So I'd say if you find a doctor that will than pay them.
They can charge just like a regular appointment. Some doctors have their staff fill out paperwork if it's a continued LOA. Pretty c-appy for a doctor to charge for that any way you look at it!
Yes! Normal .. my doc charges 20
Some Physicians will charge you for filling out Loa paperwork. Yes, it is common.
This is a bit of a tricky one. But most Health Care Providers will charge at the very least a copay charge for having to fill out paperwork that is not generated by their facility.
No doctor should be charging anything. Nooooo
Yes it's normal but u can claim all this on your taxes
Thank you for answering. I'll find another Doctor. I don't know why this company stopped honoring doctor's excuses. It was so much easier and less expensive.
My dr. charged 45 to fill out loa
My neighbor is a WC attorney. He says to find another doctor. Each doctor's office functions independently. Doctors make a huge amount of money on WC patients and are allowed to overcharge for their services. They bill Sedgwick for the time they fill out forms. By charging you to complete paperwork they are making even more money. My neighbor has worked with Sedgwick and says to refuse to pay any doctor to fill out any Sedgwick claim forms.
Yes it is normal.
actually yes..it is common...i have known of people having to pay 50 dollars....each doctor is different
Mine primary doctor charged $15 to fill out the papers. My specialist didn't change anything
Nooooooooooooooooooo
No!!!!! Find another Dr’s office.
