I’m surprised that members haven’t filed suit against their local representatives. By paying dues you are purchasing a product. That product is professional representation and bargaining by a licensed labor union. Are your stewards trained with any qualified documentation of their training to professionally handle your local contract violation issues with HR? No? How about your local executive officers? Do they have any qualified, documented training that allows them to provide you with the professional representation you are paying for? How about the qualifications of the bargaining committee to haggle the details and wording of your contract against professionally trained and college educated corporate attorneys? No? Sounds like grounds for misrepresentation of durability to me. Your stewards and local officers volunteered to represent you and legally are responsible for their lack of qualifications. They knew they were not capable of professional representation and so did the union, but they continue to take your dues.
Sounds like, leave the union, loose seniority, become surplussed, and nobody to bump to get back.
A single $6,500 to replace a 20 year employee with a new hire is a quick payback.
Ask the union workers who took the offer to work at company retail stores. Oh, most are closed now, call them at home.
Union may not be perfect but it sure beats what’s happening to the non bargained in the company

Ha, Ha, funny company shill. I’m sure the Wire Techs want to go back to unlimited amount of hours they can be forced to work, Much lower pay scale, no seniority, more severance etc... that the Union negotiated for them.

The union told us the new Kin Care tracker is easy- It goes through sedgwick , its horrible ! Why do union stewards think that taking notes and echoing management is what their job is ? Try harder union guys , make management give us an easy to use kin care tracker that is simple like the ease calander ! Dont just accept mgmt on face value that things are good for us, we pay you to fight , not take notes !
