Union Organizing Meeting-February

There will be a meeting set up soon for employees to form a Union. Stay tuned. It won't be the type of Union you read about in the papers but something specifically designed for the educated and for professionals.

I hope they do unionize; at least out in the field if nothing else to annoy our management. It would be nice to see employees push back at our self rewarding leaders.

And we are not top quartile for compensation, they target 50% range and that has been stated by HR openly in meetings.

The only way to make management pay attention and scared would be a union taking hold at our facilities. Remember how quickly Drew ran out to Foster Creek to beg forgiveness the last time a union threat popped up?

And what is the goal of a new union for professionals?

Improve safety for professionals in the office? Top quartile today - how will a union Improve?

Improve working conditions for professionals? Top quartile today - how will a union improve?

Improve compensation for professionals? Top quartile today - how will a union improve?

Improve job security? There are never layoffs in unions right?

Improve accountability? These companies took on BILLIONS of debt in 2020 and kept on paying employees. Find that consistently in other industries... I double dare you.

instead of a union why not form a new company? Unions feel like an organized begging association. Stop begging, start taking charge of your own destiny.

This was attempted at a company I worked for after a set of layoffs and those employees that tried to organize it were “let go” and it ended up with legal. Good luck.

Anyone who shows up to that meeting should immediately be fired for evening considering unionization. How many union employees do you know who get stock options, RSU’s, PSU’s and 20% bonuses? None, because it doesn’t exist in a unionized industry or company!
