Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Movin from one Team/Group to another Team/Group within GTS

Hello everyone,

Question is has HR barred the move of employees from one team/group to another team/group within GTS?
I have been doing sh*tty work at my current role for past 6-7months and while I'm searching opportunities outside IBM and will move as soon as find one but meanwhile I found an opening within GTS and not sure if I can apply. From my understanding, I can't move from GTS to those Organizations (such as GBS) which will stay with IBM but not sure if HR also don't let people within GTS.

If you’re in the US, you’re out of luck! They only want Peyton India or Costs Rica.

I would put it in and let them tell you they are not allowing it. You might kick yourself if you don't put it in and find out they were allowing it.
