A miracle happened to us once, a couple of years ago. We turned up to a job and rigged up, and found that all the equipment worked. To say we were astounded was an understatement, no oil leaks, no parts missing, nothing falling to pieces, unbelievable. Then we found out that the equipment had been brought in from another country where they actually do things right so it wasn’t actually a miracle it was just a one off. It made a pleasant change though I must admit working with functioning equipment and not having to make running repairs all day and all night long.
Just by looking at some of the people that were laid off you can tell management has no clue what they are doing.
They laid off some very good employees who actually show up to work and do their job with a positive attitude. People you never see f***ing off. Always doing their job. But keep some of these lazy people with a bad attitude that doesn't want to be a team player. Its sad.
The only miracle you might see at Weatherford is if a tool works first time, these miracles are few and far between.

The expertise to pick the low fruit isn't there anymore. They ran the people off that knew how to make money. They had the ways and means to make money but management didn't know what to do with it so they went hunting and fishing. The new management is clueless so they chute up and start throwing the essential people from the plane.
