Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Did anyone else not get their bonus info yet?

My manager said I was impacted by an error in the system and that is why I don't know what my raise or bonus will be yet. In fact, our meeting is Friday, by which time I should have my bonus in my checking account! In my fantasies, they decided last minute I am being rewarded for the extra effort I have put in lately. But then I have a rich fantasy life.

Ex-employee here. I was canned in Q3 of 2020. My bonus payment came today, and with that I am now 100% free of T and their toxic, disgusting residue.

For those still there, I feel for you. While I wasn't happy being laid off, I managed to land something with a non-profit organization a couple of months later, which is far more rewarding, and I don't have to be embarrassed to tell people where I work any more.

If you are still trapped at T, take heart because if things keep going, the economy will start to really rebound again soon in late summer, and you'll have a better shot at finding something else to ditch the Stink-ship.

A 1.1% increase was all that was budgeted thus year. Your performance didn’t matter.

I'm also in the 1.1% club my feeling is if you are in this club you need to step up your game and make yourself more valuable or plan on leaving. I hope to do both by the end of the year, Finish my degree get some certs and step up my programming and automation skills. Only question is do I leave in November or December??? Taking my lump sum and leaving. I'll still probably only get retiree healthcare for a couple years but interest rates will decimate the lump sum if I don't leave this year. Still will need to work another nine years according to my financial advisor.

Comment on Stankey's meeting is don't you love how the jack a– has the questions preselected???

"the big something like 1.1% raise
Inflation is running on the order of 2-3%. So if you got a 1% raise, that is a cut in real salary."

2-3%? riiightt, inflation was 1.3% for 2020. you might want to find a better source of data.

Each year the company cuts back on compensation, but pushes employees to increase their contributions to United Way and the AT&T PAC!! The PAC should be eliminated completely, why should we have to foot the bill for Donald Trump!!!

"1% raise (woop ti do) and 8400 bonus. Look for them to do something next year about that bonus payout as that is completely unacceptable amount of money."

$8400 is 3 months of a bit of OT. And 1%? hahahhahaha
Enjoy your title.

Like what, eliminate it altogether?

It's not going to be more - we've been giving away iphones and max subscriptions all year, how do you think Stank intends on paying for that?

"Completely unacceptable" - lmao.

People come to this site for help, posted below has no clue on anything. There were in fact some issues with some TSR's so HR put a hold on some people sharing information, I have 22 people, 2 of them had this issue so I did do my 20 but am holding for the other 2, I suspect this might be case with you, I am hearing that today this should be fixed, hopefully you will hear soon :)

Your manager is lying and just waiting until the compensation statements are released by HR by default so they can avoid the conversation. A real manager would have completed these meetings with their entire team by last Friday and released the statement. You have a horrible manager.

You will see the result of all your hard work when the proxy statement comes out and you’ll see Stanky got a double digit compensation increase along with a multi million jump in compensation!

The MDL's will automatically release today. I covered my folks last Friday, the first day the info was available to me.

Your boss may be telling the truth, there was a lot of confusion around the new pay bands and your dept. may be questioning the outcome.

I have nothing scheduled by my boss for a review or merit/bonus discussion. I guess I will find out merit and bonus friday

Your manager is either an id–t or lying. I am a supervisor and have had access to the system since Friday. Of-course on Friday the email that we received from that HR VP Angela Santone seemed confused and all about her and the link to ACS site was a bit hidden in middle of email. Still you could just go to elink and click supervisor link and then see link for ACS. So don't trust your manager in this case. I have finished reviews for all my team of fourteen already. No issues with the system or how the bonus is being given out. In general, merit raises are lower, and so is IPI compared to years prior for Extraordinay ratings. CPI is being paid at 100%.

I haven’t received mine either. My scheduled 1 on 1 is late Thursday afternoon. I’m in a new group and the lowest in the group. Da f-ck should I expect anything different?
Getting real sick and tired of being treated like sh-t by this company.

I haven't received any info, either. I did get my performance review, was rated EI. But not only did I not receive any info on bonus or raise (which is looking doubtful), but no meeting has been scheduled. Not surprising, since my perf review was the only 1:1 I had all year, and that was after he was a no show for a few other 1:1's that never happened. But, Friday is just a few short days away, and the suspense will be ended. Who needs managers, anyway. :)
