Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Can you even imagine?

Someone wrote a great post about how one circle of people manages to push through their lousy ideas that cost Intel big losses and always somehow manage to receive rewards for themselves and their friends. The author of the post has high expectations that the new CEO will do something to change this. I doubt very much that anyone will eradicate that clique culture here because it's been present here since the beginning of time.
It’s hard for me to even imagine that, but I’d love to experience an Intel that’s different, that values the best people, not the biggest brown-nosers.

@1ddq It’s also true that you trust people who you know have shown results in the past. Taking a chance on an unknown is risky, but often worth it. Yes, this is clique-y but it’s human nature.

I received a DRA the week after I left in the 2016 purge.

Who else will Pat call on for help?
And
Who will get pushed out?

The old clique by BK is on the way out, and new clique by PG is forming. Interestingly, Sunil reported to Pat before Pat left Intel. It is human nature that people trust their own people.

I’m happy to start with the old values returning. That’s a step forward after all the make-believe we’ve been forced to play.
