They skated to where the puck was; not where it was going to be. A true revolution would have been HBO Max or something like it from the beginning. Standard cable is dying a very fast death. The boat on that medium sailed and capsized, and is now sinking rapidly; and they are still the band playing on. Paramount+, Disney+, discovery+, etc. is where all the money is at. The content is far easier to consume; and in the long run it is FAR cheaper. Gone are the days of people paying $180 a month for cable. They blew it because they have ZERO vision. ZERO.

The Board of Directors, Randall Stephenson and John Stankey are solely responsible for the bad M&A decisions and debt. However, they walk away with hundreds of millions, guaranteed healthcare and luxury perks for life!! The whole c-suite and BOD need to be removed. AT&T will continue on a downward spiral and will liquidate itself piece by piece to service its debt!!

55,000 ex-employees are not being paid. Who wants to start over in their 50's with no vacation and weekend shifts at entry level pay. That is, if they can find employment. Executive bonus for poor performance. capped off pay brackets, and slaves working 50+ hours a week to get to medicare coverage. This management is why thelayoff helps identify risk of layoffs and causes. A great site that even lets trolls post.

Thank you for sharing.

This is why, in a nutshell, employees losing jobs, benefits, vacation days, being “re-badged”, receiving no/low raises, are so mad.

We’re not stupid. We can read. We see the assertions management is making that all these cuts are necessary to more closely align T with the marketplace as the utter, absolute BS, crock of SH*T it is.

The officers of this company made historically bad decisions, one after the other, in astounding fashion and employees AND customers of T are paying the price.
