Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

To those denied

Curious to hear experiences of those who signed EOI and were denied. I have nearly 30 years most of which were pretty successful. I was never even told that I was denied. Just told what territory will be. Seems to me almost a type of discrimination in that they avoided and didn't even try to accommodate those that would have a higher dollar payout.

They had no intention of giving senior reps severance, that would have been high $ payouts.

They want us to quit, without severance.

The sacrificial rep(s) that were let go is a one off, to balance it out, to try to hide their shadiness, etc.

They would take low payoff newer rep severances everyday of the week. Easy to replace, not much loss to the company.

They know a lot of reps with seniority want out, so they'll try to drive us out so they don't pay severance, unemployment, etc.

This company has always been this way.

Just like when they cut people's hours down to 3-4 hours a week until THEY quit.

I've seen it over and over, I'm not new.

I don't think a lot of people know the sick extent this company/group of people will go to, they have no boundaries, they're all dead inside.

Dont understand why they offered it. Didnt seem to matter. I personally put alot of time, prayers etc into it before signing EOI. Seems as though they never intended to accept many.
