Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

I can’t wait for next week

Despite the stress and anxiety, I can’t wait to get laid off. I have been preparing for it for months and I hope that some savings will help me until I find a new job. The most important thing is that I cleared my mind of any doubts - layoff is only short-term stress, and looking at it in the long term, layoff will bring me relief.

@1syn+19I5OEhF is 100% correct. I am a manager at Fiserv and unless you are being laid off by a senior level leader your manager had nothing to do with the decision please do not take it out on your manager

This is definitely a Fiserv employee. All Fiserv employees should be prepared for their inevitable layoff.

It is much easier on the manager when the employee is all smiles while being laid off.

Layoffs are set to begin at the end of next week per HR. All notifications have to be recorded before March 19 and the departures must be complete by end of month. Managers will be receiving their list on the 8th or 9th of next week. That is what was communicated to us by our SVP. Also no pay increases this year even for senior leaders as the money is being allocated to the back to business campaign handouts.

In a few weeks we'll find out who knows vs who is making things up. My money is on layoffs by end of March.

I see great potential for happiness with happy feel good joy joy layoff postings. Nothing like no paycheck to burden the First Data accounting department to reduce those nasty old expenses. And good for First Data shills for packing this board with junk and insults.

Leave it to Frank and Guy to inflate this thread with back-to-back replies to try to cover for the upcoming layoff fallout. Things were better under Jeff!! The number of outages with the new leadership is simply astounding.

Agree a bs post! Winning in all facets driving haters to new lows. Stock 120, turnover at all time low, no layoffs anyone can point too, except for small normal performance stuff, worlds most admired, leading engagement for 44,600, client delight up....ceo total command of all aspects vs accountant Jeff, times good and getting better!
