Just as someone has already written, this company has made historically bad decisions. Ever since I started working here, I couldn’t help but wonder about some of their business moves. Every one of them went to the detriment of this company and that is why we are where we are now. Which of their decisions do you think shook up ATT the most?

I'm happy to say I didn't watch (waste my time on) any of the LwD videos. I would just log in, hit play, then mute and minimize, and enjoy my lunch while I watched Golf Channel, or Price is Right on my U-Verse tv at my desk! Survey was always 5's, straight down the middle, and comment was always "good stuff". Got all the badges (Woo Hoo) just like everyone else and included it on my A&D (Woo Hoo again)!
The DTV fiasco could have been avoided if we had done an alliance instead of buying the company!!
Whitacre gave Randall too much power! He should have given him some setbacks to see how he would have recovered.
Most definitely and unequivocally the purchase of DTV and Time Warner...biggest mistakes I’ve seen not to mention the $4B oops mistake with T-Mobile! What were these people thinking! Did they just come out of a 2 year coma...how clueless can senior management officers be!
Say what you want about Randall he was able to walk away with hundreds of millions!!
Does anybody remember the Harvard business training classes that were labeled leadership and the answer was always to outsource everything and layoffs were almost always the answer too.
Remember that LwD where they wanted us to vote on business decisions like we were the CEO? And the answers they guided us toward were the same decisions that Randall made? Good times.
Yes. In my session there was one team/table who scored a perfect score. Which was incredible considering that the "correct" decisions were those which ran T into the ditch, but never mind the details, those are for little people.
Later on in the LwD session, that team was forced to admit to cheating by reading an answer key.

#1by far..... the promotion of Randall Stephenson...nothing else comes remotely close as most of the notable failures were a direct result of his decisions.
