Never thought this happens so quickly, China's growth is expected 6% this year, if this continues for the next 4 months, expect a lot of exist from the company to join other companies with better pay and career opportunities, that may lead to your next raise with Chevron if you play it right!

Been in this industry 30 years. Was laid off twice, but always found another job within a half year. To all my brothers (and sisters) lain off now, it still may look bleak but make sure you take some down time and recharge as the booms come on even faster than the busts. Not yet, despite this temporary rise, but I expect the next boom starts before years end.
What’s the OP saying? How do you know salaries at Multiple Big Oil Cos? You don’t. But you can guess. Here’s my guess for CVX. All employees earn a bazillion gazillion dollars in Bitcoin mining while they earn stock options while working from home.
