I’ve been with Nike for almost 8 years and I haven’t heard a single story. Correction - I’ve read them here. You would think that if someone is being retaliated against it would make the rounds, wouldn’t it? People talk (or gossip) and things like that are very seldom kept under wraps. Or maybe I’m just out of the loop.

OP, you are blind
You are out of the loop. Retaliation is very much alive and kicking at Nike. Typically if you end up working for a BS'r or someone who doesn't understand their job and feels threatened by you. Or sometimes, they might not like the way you look.
Check the Lake. There are plenty of folks that have been sent to the bottom wearing concrete shoes... With swooshes of course.
It's nuanced. But, look no further than who is hired, fired, promoted, how ratings are distributed (or not) and how merit $ and PSP $ were distributed and other bonus $. Look deeper, you'll see it.
Please. Retaliation is done dirty in cahoots with HR and no regard for truth or damage. Manager tried it with a false complaint. Investigation ruled in my favor. p-ss-d them off even more
Lol there is nothing but retaliation. I was let go after several highly successful CFEs becuase of a grudge an incompetent boss had.
I never got myself involved in all of the gossip (probably why I didn't last too long) but that's where you hear about these things. There are some pretty diabolical people at Nike who become very insecure when they encounter someone who doesn't just BS their way through work. Sadly, they tend to edge those people out.
Regardless of how long you’ve been at Nike retaliation is a thing and happens too often.
You’re out of the loop
You may not have heard about them because retaliation is considered normal and not punished at Nike. Probably blends in with the normal “day to day”.
